This past September, South Street Creamery celebrated an exciting milestone—25 years in the heart of Morristown! While it’s only been a year since our family took over as the new owners, the Creamery has been a local staple since 1998, creating sweet memories for generations of families, friends, and neighbors.
As longtime customers ourselves, we’ve always felt a deep connection to this place. Our children grew up enjoying scoops of ice cream here after school, and some of us even worked behind the counter as teens. That’s why we’re so proud to continue the Creamery’s legacy and honor its deep roots in the community.
A Flavorful Year of Community Partnerships
To celebrate this special milestone and strengthen our community ties, we’ve had the absolute joy of collaborating with local schools and organizations to create custom ice cream flavors inspired by their events and spirit. Here are just a few of the delicious partnerships we’ve been a part of:
🍦 “Spoonful of Sugar” – A sweet nod to Morristown High School’s theater production.
🏈 “S’morristown” – A rich, toasty creation crafted for the MHS football team.
🎉 “Bluey Bingo Blast” – A fun, kid-friendly flavor for Learning Express & MPAC’s family event.
🎨 “Colonial Cyclone” – A creative collaboration with Normandy Park School.
Each of these flavors was made with the same care and creativity that we bring to everything we serve—and they’ve been a huge hit with the community!
Here’s to the Next 25
As we look ahead, our mission is to continue building on the Creamery’s long-standing traditions while adding our own family touch. We’re always looking for ways to connect with the community, support local initiatives, and (of course) dream up new flavors for everyone to enjoy.
To everyone who has supported us—from longtime regulars to first-time visitors—thank you for being a part of our journey. We can’t wait to see what the next 25 years bring.
